Because the predicted weather conditions for Thursday sound dire for an outside activity such as the German Fest, we have been forced to cancel the event.  We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Oom pah pah!  Oom pah pah!  Come celebrate Sunset Hills’ German heritage on Thursday, June 18, from 5 til 9 p.m. German Fest will be held at the Sunset Hills Aquatic Center in Watson Trail Park. The Herb Eberle Band will be playing favorite German songs and polkas. Attendance is free for Historical Society members, unless you plan to make use of the pool facilities. You’re welcome to BYOB, and there will be beer tasting for a small donation. German food and Ted Drew’s frozen custard will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!
