The January 30, 2015 issue of the South County Times ran on its front page an article about the Sunset Hills Historical Society Historian of the Year award. The May 23, 2014 issue of the South County Times ran on its front page, the announcement of the SCHS Memorial Day ceremony for 2014. Also featured is an article on the formal ending of the Show-Me Hero Salute program to bring the AVTT Vietnam Traveling Wall to St Louis in June of 2013. The program was started by the Sunset Hills Historical Society and Sappington-Concrd Historical Society participated. The current exhibit at “Jefferson Barracks, “The Homefront: From V-mail to Email” is featured. Finally, the Sunset Hills Historical Society event with Billy Busch is featured on page 7.

The December 27, 2013 issue of the South County Times ran on its front page, “The Year’s Top 10 Stories.” Stories number three and four relate to the SCHS and the Sunset Hills Historical Society. Story number three is about the Sunset Hills Historical Society bringing the AVTT Vietnam Traveling Wall to St. Louis in June of 2013. Story number four is about an historic site, the Paraclete/Griesedieck property being donated to the Lindbergh Schools by Sunset Hills resident, Al Moore. 11/29/2013 – Manners around the Thanksgiving table aren’t quite what they used to be some 160 years ago.
