This month’s Sunset Hills Historical Society meeting will feature Greg Wolk, Executive Director of Missouri’s Civil War Heritage Foundation. Wolk, an attorney and author, will speak about Missouri’s Civil War Heritage Foundation’s “U. S. Grant Trail,” a tourism initiative that was started in 2012. His talk will include a discussion of the life of General Ulysses S. Grant in the Sunset Hills and Crestwood areas during the Civil War in Missouri. Afterwards Wolk will sign copies of his book “Friend and Foe Alike: A Tour Guide to Missouri’s Civil War,” which is a driving tour guide highlighting more than 230 significant Civil War sites in Missouri.
Please be sure to join us on Monday, March 23, at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills City Hall, 3939 South Lindbergh.
